How to Fix Computer shuts down

It will drive you crazy when finding the computer shut down unexpectedly without a warning and no one wants to suffer from such a PC error. Annoyingly, this sudden PC shutdown can make all of your on-working projects go like a smoke and some will fail to get back again. In my opinion, an unexpected PC shutdowns problem usually occurs when the computer is not well taken care of. If you are able to regularly maintain PC performance in your daily life by performing the below instructions, you will prevent and solve PC shutdown problems easily.

The first and most common cause for why your computer shuts down unexpectedly is because of overheating. We all know that when the computer runs, it usually generates a lot of heat and this is why there are some fans inside. However, if your computer runs overheated, it will act in very strange ways, including restarting the PC itself or shutting down randomly. So, if finding your computer gets too hot, close it down for a few minutes and restart them when it is much cooler.

Secondly, you should install anti-virus program to protect the computer. Once a computer is infected by viruses or spyware, numerous files will be attacked and removed from the computer. Besides collecting and stealing personal information, they will randomly change or reset your current computer/browser settings to navigate you to some strange & dangerous pages, causing unexpected PC shutdown problems. A powerful and reliable anti-virus program on the computer helps to realtime protect your computer at any time. But do remember that, a frequent update of the virus database is needed, too!

Thirdly, uninstall some unwanted programs. Normally, the programs install on the computer will always take lots of disk space. The unwanted programs on the hard disk will not only waste the hard disk space, but also make the system files ( for example ccsw32.dll file) become bloated because the system will automatically modify these files when installing programs, greatly slow down the computer and finally cause the computer to shut down unexpectedly. So if you find the program is not needed any not, please do not hesitate to uninstall it in order to reclaim faster computer speed and prevent unexpected PC shutdowns.

After uninstalling the program, run Disk Defragmenter. Disk defragmentation is the main maintenance for a computer and should be taken out once or twice a month if you do not install / uninstall programs frequently, or do lots of downloading or file creation/ deletion. Or you should run the Disk defragmenter at least when there is only 15% free hard disk space. Keeping the files coherently makes the computer much easier to access what you want, speeding up a slow running computer and preventing unexpected PC shutdowns easily.

Sometimes, an unexpected PC shutdown problem can occur when there are too many useless or corrupt entries within the Windows registry database. Since Windows relies on the registry to give the system the correct information to perform some tasks and run the hardware/software correctly, the damaged or corrupt files running in your system will cause some unexpected errors to the PC. That is to say, if the system cannot find the required entries to load the page, or cannot find the needed keys among thousands of useless entries quickly to load the site, you will come to the chance to get slow connection speed. To run computer smoothly without sudden PC shutdown problems, a fix on the Windows registry errors is a must. You can do this simply by downloading a registry cleaner tool from the Internet and thoroughly scan & fix all errors on your computer.

Well, just like a human being, a computer needs to be well taken care of so as to function correctly all the time. Otherwise, it may soon suffer from unexpected PC shutdown errors or some other computer issues. So why not start performing the above steps from now on??
