How to remove RockResult?

Help! My computer is flooded with a lot of pop-up ads from RockResult. I am sure that I have never installed RockResult on my browsers and I don’t want it at all. Could any tell me how to get rid of it?

RockResult seems to be a normal browser add-on that helps users to save money by providing them with information about discounts or promotion. In fact, it is an adware used to deliver all kinds of ads, coupons, discounts, deals, promo codes and others to the online users. Usually, this adware gets downloaded and installed on your computer without any knowledge and consent. Very often, it comes together with package deal of free-ware program and spam email attachments. Also, it can slip into your computer when you visit unsafe websites or click on suspicious links. Once it gets installed on your computer, it will quickly attach to your Web browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox. It will also make some changes to your Windows registry so as to run automatically every time you start up your computer. Usually, it will add its own registry key to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run. Then, RockResult starts to display tongs of pop-up ads, coupons, deals, and so forth on your browsers whenever you surf on the Internet. But please note that, it is not safe to click on those pop-ups, for in some cases you would be linked to some website which can deliver malware onto your computer.

This adware may also modify the default homepage and search provider without your authorization, so that it can take control over your browsers and determine what you will be shown when online. Besides, it could bring other malware like Trojans, worms, and spywares to your infected computer, which may lead to more problems and damage. With this adware and other malware inside your computer, your personal information and data will not remain secure. There would be a great risk that your personal information is stolen and transmitted to the remote hackers for their own benefits. This adware can also cause you to suffer from slow computer performance and slow network connection. Thus, it is important that this adware be removed quickly.
