Tips: Uninstall google toolbar

There are thousands of browser add-ons that can enhance your online experience. The Google Toolbar is one of them. This browser add-on has a lot of useful functions. For example, the toolbar provides easy access to your search history, language settings, has a pop-up blocker, and form auto completion. However, if you have a lot of other add-ons installed, Google Toolbar may be causing your browser to open slowly and even freeze from time to time. This has nothing to do with the toolbar itself, but rather with the memory load a browser with too many add-ons has. To unload the memory, you’ll need to disable or even uninstall at least some of the add-ons. And since the features of Google Toolbar are pretty much present in modern versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox, you can safely uninstall it for good.

Uninstalling the Google Toolbar is pretty easy once you know where to look for the uninstall option. There are two ways of removing it directly from the browser or doing it via the Control Panel.

If you have Internet Explorer:

Locate the spanner icon on the Google Toolbar and click on the down arrow
Select Uninstall from the menu
Click on Uninstallthe Google Toolbar and it will be uninstalled from your browser
To uninstall the Google Toolbar from the Control Panel:

Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel
Go to Programs and Features and click on Uninstall a program
Locate the Google Toolbar, highlight it and click on Uninstall
The toolbar will be removed from your PC
If you have Firefox:

Locate the spanner icon on the Google Toolbar and click on the down arrow
Select Uninstall from the menu
Click on Uninstall and the toolbar will be uninstalled
Restart your browser for the changes to take effect
You can also uninstall the Google Toolbar from the add-ons window, just like you would uninstall any other Firefox add-on.

As you can see, deleting Google Toolbar is very easy. When you are done removing it, make sure you scan your computer with a good registry cleaner to make sure that all leftover bits and pieces are gone from your system. This way you will keep your computer free of clutter and ensure top performance and speed.
