To uninstall Java from Windows computer, you can first to uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs utility in the Microsoft Windows Control Panel.
1) Click Start Menu.
2) Go to Add/Remove Programs within Control Panel.
3) Highlight Java and then click Remove to begin the removal.
4) Click Next when the below window appears.
5) Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the uninstall process.
If the normal method (described above) fails to get rid of it from the computer, please go to use helpUninstaller. helpUninstaller can forcibly uninstall corrupted programs thoroughly without nothing associated left in the drives or registry.
1. Run helpUninstaller.
2. Find the folder directly in the hard drives where you locate Java such as C:Program FilesJava.
3. Right click the folder to select “Force Uninstall” to begin the removal. (Note: If you cannot start from the right-click menu, please firstly launch Perfect Uninstaller from Start->All programs->Perfect Uninstaller->Perfect Uninstaller, then go to Options from its main panel. In the General Settings, tick up Right-click to Force Uninstall. If your system is Windows Vista or Win7, also check Disable User Account in Change Vista Account Control.)
4. Press Next when Perfect Uninstaller has found all associated entries both in the drives and registry.
5. Follow the on-screen steps to finish the removal.
Note: If Java is listed in the Display Name list after you run Perfect Uninstaller, it is much better to uninstall it there. For Uninstall is the safer way to uninstall programs.
